Anyone play Xbox?

If so, what games?

I have Splinter Cell but find it a little frustrating. The kill spree that Halo offers is more fun.

I have an Xbox and love it. I have MKDA, Road rally, atv racing 2, nascar 2002, Nba, and some other ones. the graphics are better than ps2, I think. and the games load faster.

I don't have consoles, never felt like spending money for them, im a computer junkie. But.... nevertheless i do go over and play my friends xbox. 2 player halo is really fun. I don't particularly like racing games or sport games, and i havn't found a lot of xbox games that i like.
Splinter cell is really fun, but i feel they could have expanded on it. I beat it too quick i guess.. Once you get past the certain tricky parts, it gets easy. Hope they make a sequel!

Im gonna have to get splinter cell, I can get it cheap at the local pawn shop. I here it was pretty good..

I have Splinter Cell on PS2, and I'm stuck at one spot, so I gave it up for Enter The Matrix, at least for awhile!

what part did you get stuck on

Enter the Matrix is a cool game, but it's got a lot of bugs. I have it for GCN and I beat it in a few hours (all be it they were spread out across a few months). You can tell that they definitely rushed it to get it out the same time that the second movie was released, but it's still cool. I love the levels with the vampire fights..... it added a nice mix aside from constantly dissarming the enemies and beating them to death with their own weapons (my fav. method of destruction).

Speaking of beating people, ever played Oni? Now THERES an entertaining fight game. Devil-spin-kicking ninjas into acid vats and off high rises will always be remembered : D

I've got NFL Fever 2003, Mech Assault, and Unreal Championship.. As far as XBOX Live games go.. =)

We have an X-box, too. So far, my favourite games have been Baldur's Gate - The Dark Alliance and Halo (the ending was so hard!). Nightcaster isn't too bad, but I didn't like either of the LotR games too much.

My hubby has Splinter Cell, but he hasn't touched it after one go. My son and I play Tetris Worlds together and he loves Harry Potter/Chamber of Secrets.

Eagerly awaited releases: Halo 2 and Fable.

Oooh...those two look good...i was considering getting SCII for that...then thought maybe GC...decisions decisions...

Another game im looking forward to on the X-Box would have to be UT2k4...UC was such a let down...

I will admit one thing.

xbox has some very good hardware on it. The idea of a hardrive was something long overdue but I still don't really like the system.

Why?

First off because it has the worst controler I've ever seen for any console period. They fixed it a little with smaller controlers but in the end I still find myself hitting the wrong button now and again becuase the buttons are not properly alligned for easy access. I find a game without good controls looses some of it's value.

the other problem with xbox is that it doesn't really have the titles that the ps2 has. Lets face it, Sony has all the good game companys under their banner and what doesn't come to them they usually is not something I enjoy playing even when it looks good. Like Amped or Halo which I both found boring rather quickly to be honest. Although Halo rocks for multiplayer. Rainbow six 3 is the only other title I am interested in that's on xbox only and even that is easy to get for a computer.

So basically xbox would be good but first they need to fix the controls and get some good games that are exclusive to their system. PS2 just outmatches them in both those fields right now especially with their huge PS1 library that will play on the PS2.

Personally, i found the original "bulky" controllers of Xbox fine. Dunno. I don't have big hands either, i just found it worked well. The newer controllers definately have some funky thing with their buttons going on though. As for Playstations, the main reason i don't like them is they're controllers wear out so fast. I went through three controllers in a month. Decided it wasnt worth it : P

I'd probably get a PS2 if i could, but right now im more trying to get a better computer. some of the games coming out look tasty.
